Today is September 11, 2014:
- The 13th anniversary of the needless deaths of thousands of people,
- The 13th anniversary of those, still living, whose lives were completely and forever altered by the unmitigated horror of what happened to their neighbors, friends, family and loved ones,
- The 13th anniversary of watching New York City’s Twin Towers fall, and
- The 13th anniversary of a loss of ‘innocence’ that I daresay will never be fully recovered.
In remembering the September 11th of 2001, remember to also live in the here and now:
Remember to tell those who matter to you that they do.
Share what’s in your heart versus keeping it locked away somewhere in the recesses of your psyche, because we never really know which ‘today’ was actually our final ‘tomorrow.’
